-- Sam Reading
BASIC INFORMATION
Name: Samantha Elizabeth Reading
Gender: Female
Age: Seventeen
Race: Human
Allegiance: Neutral
Occupation: Student at Longridge High School
What are you?: A heffalump! XD
APPEARANCE
Hair: Dyed a bright blue, Sam is certainly easy to pick out in a crowd. Her hair, when down, reaches her mid-back, though she always ties it up into a messy bun at the nape of her neck.
Eyes: Blue
Body: Sam is a fairly average height, standing at around 5'6". She is very slim, but not bone-thin, and certainly does not have an hour-glass figure. Instead, she is nearly flat-chested, and hardly curvy at all. When her hair is hidden, Sam is often mistaken for a boy.
Usual Clothing: Sam is a bit of a tomboy, and rarely puts much stock in her appearance. She tends to wear a hooded top everywhere, whether it's a jumper or just a t-shirt with a hood attached. Sam generally wears baggy trousers, though she will wear shorts in the summer.
Distinguishing Features (if any): None besides her bright blue hair.

((Please note: This picture was not drawn by me! I found it on google images, but I will be making my own sketch of Sam soon ^_^ ))
HISTORY and PERSONALITY
Mother: Leanne Reading, 38, an archivist working for LAMP.
Father: James Reading, 41, a research scientist working with LAMP.
Siblings: Toby Reading, 22, studying at university abroad.
Short Biography:
Sam grew up in another country on the other side of the world with her parents and older brother Toby. She had always been close to her brother, who, although he was five years her senior, always treated her like an equal. When Sam's father was offered a job with LAMP three years ago and decided to move the whole family to Longridge City, both Sam and Toby were intrigued as to what life in another country would be like. However, Sam's father wouldn't let Toby come with them, as he believed he should stay to keep going with his studies.
So, leaving her brother behind, Sam moved to Longridge City with her parents. At first she was lonely, as she had left behind her friends and her brother, who she counted among those friends. However, Sam soon found new friends and, although she still missed her brother, she didn't feel as lonely any more.
Before moving to Longridge, Sam had studied up on the Epidemic. Of course, everyone knew about it, but most people didn't really know that much about it except for the fact that some babies born in Longridge City afterwards gained special 'abilities'. Sam hadn't really known what these 'abilities' were until she had researched it further, though she didn't find the full truth from any newspaper article from the time. She had to pluck up the courage to ask her father, who was going to be a part of a new research team. Of course he would know all about it.
Now, Sam is still a fairly lonely creature. She doesn't know that mutants are experimented on -- that fact her father concealed from her -- nor does she know that he father is one of the ones who does the experimentation. Sam doesn't really mind either way about the so-called 'mutants'. After her preliminary research, she decided to shelf the subject in the back of her mind.
Personality:
Sam is quite shy, though when she has something that she knows she wants to or needs to say, she will say it. With quite a head for literature, Sam can nearly always be found with her nose in a book. She also loves music, and is rarely seen without headphones. She is also learning to play the guitar, though only by teaching herself, as her parents don't believe that lessons in playing the guitar are a useful thing to spend money on.
OTHER
Any Other Information: Sam owns a moped, which she only uses when her parents can't see her riding it. It was bought in a small rebellious phase after she moved to Longridge City. Also, when not in school or with friends, Sam can usually be found in her mum's office in the LAMP headquarters.
Sample Roleplay: ((As I'm the admin, I'm not going to do this right now... I will add one in soon though!))
